Help Treat Arthritis and Joint Disorders!
A Natural Formulated Product for Bone, Ligament & Cartilage Support.

A number of natural remedies over the past several years have proven beneficial for providing relief
for arthritis sufferers.  The most effective formulas have included only one or two significant
ingredients designed to help diminish the pain, inflammation and cartilage damage associated with
certain forms of arthritis.  The problem with these treatments is that different types of arthritis attack the
body in different ways.  One of which is osteo-arthritis, the most common form of the disease.  This
involves the gradual degeneration of the joints in the body.  Another form, rheumatoid arthritis, is an
auto-immune disorder affecting the entire body.  Instead of acting as a defense mechanism for the body,
the immune system is triggered by the disease to attack healthy tissue.  Rheumatoid arthritis is
particularly harsh on the joints.

People suffer everyday from some form of arthritis in the United States.

CHOOSING THE MOST BENEFICIAL METHOD OF TREATMENT
When dealing with joint disorders resulting from arthritis or from an injury, the most beneficial method
is to enhance the body’s ability to repair and restore health to the cartilage and all of the tissues in the
joints.  In order for this to happen, you must select the best possible combination of nutrients.

To understand what is needed to maintain healthy cartilage, you first should know what cartilage is
made of.  The overall framework of cartilage is made up of protein “collagen”. Within the network of
collagen fibers are large molecules called “proteoglycans” that act as water magnets for the “synovial
fluid”.  Scattered throughout the cartilage are tiny “factories” called “Chondrocytes”.  The chondrocytes
manufacture new supplies of collagen and proteoglycans for the cartilage of worn-out tissue.
Sometimes, disease from an injury can impair this natural process causing debilitation of the afflicted
joints.

HOW DOES JOINT COMPLEX WORK?
Designed to work within the cartilage matrix.  Each nutrient in this product is formulated in treating
specific forms of arthritis or damaged joints.
Glucosamine Sulfate (500 mg) Glucosamine is a long chain amino-sugar naturally occurring in cartilage.
It is the major building block of the
proteoglycans and is used specifically to produce
glycosaminoglycans (GAGS).  GAGS are proteins that bind water within the structure of cartilage.
Glucosamine also stimulates the
chondrocytes to produce more collagen and proteoglycans.
Chondroitin Sulfate (400 mg) Like glucosamine, chondroitin is another of the mucopolysaccarides found
in cartilage.  Acting as a water magnet, chondroitin helps elevate the levels of
synovial fluid in the joint.
Along with the water attracted by chondroitin are essential nutrients necessary for the health of the
cartilage and joints.
Shark Cartilage (750 mg) In addition to its natural content of chondroitin and glucosamine, shark
cartilage displays some amazing properties that go beyond those of refined
mucophy-saccharides.
Research has demonstrated shark cartilage to be a  powerful and non-toxic anti-inflammatory.  If you are
a rheumatoid arthritis sufferer, the potential effect of shark cartilage is in the strengthening of the
immune system.
Green Lipped Sea Mussel (250 mg) Due to its rich stores of mucophysaccharides, green lipped sea
mussels contain high levels of “
hyaluronic acid”.  Since this is a major constituent of synovial fluid,
hyaluronic acid serves as an effective lubricant for the joint and buffers against cartilage damage.
MSM (
Methylsulfonylmethane) (250 mg) This is an essential nutrient required by the body.  MSM plays an
important role in the production of collagen.  Insufficient levels of MSM can lead to an inability of the
body to repair or replace damaged tissue.  MSM can also play a significant role in controlling pain
caused by inflamed tissue cells.  Such inflammation occurs when tissue cells are unable to adjust their
fluid levels in response to atmospheric pressure changes.  This is why many people claim to be able to
forecast weather changes by the pain in their joints.  MSM helps to regulate fluid transfer in the tissues
by keeping the cell walls flexible and permeable.
L-Histidine (10 mg) Those afflicted by arthritis have been shown to have abnormally low levels of the
amino acid L-Histidine in their bodies. Proper intake of L-Histidine may prove beneficial in reducing
inflammation associated with joint disease and other disorders.
Boron (Citrate) (1 mg)  This important mineral is renowned for its role in helping to prevent or slow the
effects of osteoporosis.  There is some evidence to suggest Boron may prove beneficial in treating
some forms of arthritis.
